Motherhood -- Every mother supposedly wants her baby to become the most responsible person among morality and decency possibilities. "Motherhood is the greatest potential influence either for good or ill in human life. The mother´s image is the first that stamps itself on the unwritten page of the young child´s mind. It is her caress that first awakens a sense of security; her kiss, the first realization of affection; her sympathy and tenderness, the first assurance that there is love in the world…. This ability and willingness properly to rear children -- make motherhood the noblest office or calling in the world…. She who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters -- deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the ultimate choicest blessings of God," a caring person.

Nonetheless, the heavenly design also calls for both parents to care for their own children, in fact, that the father should become head of the household in a Godly respect. Because of fatherless homes, an all point's bulletin should be declared for fathers to take their rightful place as a parent. To become Godly parents, both the mother and father's mind must be transformed by reading the Word of God.

Americans, however, should consider the nagging fact that many biological fathers have abdicated their responsibility for proper love, discipline, teaching, support, moral guidance and protection of their family, says Mark M. Alexander.

In addition, "The lack of effective, functioning fathers is the root cause of America's social, economic and spiritual crises," writes Dr. Edwin Cole.

Mark continues... the truth -- and it is a hard truth for men who have abandoned their families, but a harder truth for their children: According to the CDC, DoJ, DHHS and the Bureau of the Census, the 30 percent of children who live apart from their fathers will account for 63 percent of teen suicides, 70 percent of juveniles in state-operated institutions, 71 percent of high-school dropouts, 75 percent of children in chemical-abuse centers, 80 percent of rapists, 85 percent of youths in prison, and 85 percent of children who exhibit behavioral disorders. In addition, 90 percent of homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes. In fact, children born to unwed mothers are 10 times more likely to live in poverty as children with fathers in the home.

David Blankenhorn, president of the Institute for American Values, adds, "[The absence of fathers] from family life is surely the most socially consequential family trend of our era."

While countless children have been brought up in fatherless homes, under the pressures of street immorality, our hope really kicks-in as we work together in restoring our families with the family values of yester year. Let the family be composed of one Mother and one Father. For without both parent's guidance, boys and girls learn about sex from everyone else but parents at an early age -- through the teacher of hardcore pornography or obscenity.

It's hard to believe some of our beautiful baby boys will grow-up acquiring an addiction for pornography, molesting young girls and children, even raping -- and killing them, because without both parents who could have given them the "proper love, discipline, teaching, support, moral guidance and protection"; monsters were created, instead. This is not to say that some single mothers have overcome extraordinary circumstances in bringing-up their children to be responsible and productive citizens.

Tragically, the pages of history -- especially 20th-century history -- are rife with the terrible misdeeds of those who were raised without fathers, or with abusive fathers: Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden and many others of lesser infamy, informs Mark Alexander. ...... or the Ted Bundy types of sex predators/killers, who resorted to hard core pornography, have also carved a place in history, as the number of sex predators are off the charts today.

Bill Johnson of American Decency recently stated, "every sex crime produces some form of pornography behind it, however, prosecutors usually don't include it among the evidence for trial."

Anything less than the best in morality and decency allows the dark side to overcome our lives, including our children, as the addiction for pornography and immorality has caused sexual warfare against our souls. If our Community Standard on the definition of obscenity continues unchecked, or has no checks and balances, family values will continue to crumble. The addiction for pornography opens the sewer for all HELL to flood into the lives of anyone so in despair of morality and decency teachings.

The Community Standard -- The Supreme Court has mandated that each community define the adult community standard for obscenity. Because of this legal directive, every citizen should participate in the meaning of obscenity, addressing various arenas in the community, thereby limiting pornography. Since pornography is behind every sex crime, the definition of obscenity should not be limited necessarily to the police or prosecutors, but again, developed by registered voters considering the safety, health, and morality of their community, thereby creating public policy. Eventually, the community standard for obscenity is further determined by the jury on any given case involving obscenity.

When a community is committed to morality and decency standards, family foundations are strengthened by the framer's intent from the United States Constitution. Being able to hold town meetings, referendums by the voters, voting on Constitutional Amendments, elections of officials, church rallies, prayer groups, correctly appoint officials, nonprofit's organizational groups addressing thresholds, having elected officials responsive to the public, and public debates with the police, elected officials, or prosecuting authorities willing to listen to and use the developed adult community standard on obscenity, without lawyer dominance overwhelming public efforts. Creating a "Committee on Obscenity" within the District Attorney's office would provide the 'checks and balances' on the definition of obscenity. If parental training and descipline is lacking -- the community standard will have to step up to the plate, where the kid will find himself between two cops, under arrest.

Nevertheless, whenever our constitution is undermined, and we have a problem with those who would minimize any lawful adult's ability to define obscenity within the conservative community standard, our worst fears will be manifested. As you may have heard, rape and immorality are up over 18% in the Houston area, because obscenity is unchecked and undefined, while the drug of choice, the "addiction for pornography," teaches and captures every available soul.

Test for Obscenity Today -- United States Code, Title 18, Chapter 71, Sections 1460-1470

The basic three prong test for determining whether visual or written works are obscene material is as follows:

Whether the average person, applying contemporary adult community standards, would find that the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest (i.e., an erotic, lascivious, abnormal, unhealthy, degrading, shameful, or morbid interest in nudity, sex, or excretion); and

Whether the average person, applying contemporary adult community standards, would find that the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexual conduct (i.e., ultimate sexual acts, normal or perverted, actual or simulated, masturbation, excretory functions, lewd exhibition of the genitals, or sado-masochistic sexual abuse); and whether a reasonable person would find that the work, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.
